# Architecture and Technology

The technical stack, product boundaries, and honest feature-status labels.

Kvants combines a Next.js frontend, FastAPI backend, SQL persistence, strategy graph schemas, NautilusTrader simulation, native vector research engines, MCP server tools, and Solana-aware KVAI metering services.

The architecture separates research surfaces from execution boundaries. Hosted product pages support authoring, simulation, education, paper observation, MCP research, and exports. The user-owned runner is the planned path for user-operated live execution.

Feature status matters. The Self-Hosted Runner is in development. On-chain batch burn execution awaits production key provisioning. Withdrawals are disabled by default. Some Brain panels depend on strategy data before they can show content.
